Family with children will enjoy it
The lake view room gave us front-row seats to watch the boats coming and going, just like watching a live show right from our window. The pool? Oh man, it was fantastic! Just the kind of refreshment we needed to cool off after a day of exploring.
It wasn't exactly a bargain though still reasonable for what you get.

Externally interesting historical building, service is o.k., the location is top, the dinner at the hotel is first class, the view over the lake from the roof (-corner) room is great.
Breakfast with little choice, dry white rolls, hardly any fruit. Reception does not talk more than necessary, very loud ventilation, also at night, in the roof (-corner) room on the 4th floor. Arrival with own car not recommended, parking lots on the spot are a catastrophe.

Excelsior splendide has a perfect location right by the ferry. Our room on the fourth floor was a great value, with a lovely lakefront view and a balcony for sunset watching. The staff were super friendly, especially the restaurant team, and we loved the pool area tucked away in the garden.

We had an amazing family trip exploring Bellagio! Our stay was nice, especially enjoying sunsets from our lake view room. The pool area was a great spot to relax after a day out.
My kids wished there were more options for breakfast.

We liked this hotel, it was clean with an absolutely perfect and competent staff. The food we tried was fresh and they have a good choice of meals to choose from. Tbh, had a very good stay for two nights.

Our room had an amazing lake view, and the terrace was perfect for drinks before dinner. Watching the sunset from the restaurant was lovely. The staff were friendly and always ready to help.
The breakfast could use more variety.
